Daniel Padilla was born Catholic, while Bernardo is a member of the largest religious group in the Philippines Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC). In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Thursday, Daniel Padilla said that he is undecided at the moment but the Kapamilya Teen King revealed that he is open to changing his religious beliefs for his on-screen partner Teen Queen Kathryn Bernardo. since he will be serving the same God whenever he decides to be converted.
Padilla noted that his and Bernardo’s religious beliefs are not an issue for now saying that they will be deciding on that in the future. As of the moment, they are enjoying each other’s company remaining “very special but not really official”. The actor also said that they are still very close and happy with each other.
The young actor also noted that he is not in a hurry and willing to wait for the right time to become the boyfriend of Bernardo. They are commonly known as “KathNiel” to their fans who fully supports them.
